By placing an order with ELENCI, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before purchasing.
1. Definitions
- ELENCI: the seller operating this store at elenci.nl
- Consumer: any natural person purchasing for personal, non-commercial purposes
- Order: a confirmed purchase placed through elenci.nl
- Cooling-off period: the statutory period during which a consumer may withdraw from an agreement
- Durable medium: any means (including email) that allows information to be stored and reproduced unchanged
2. Applicability
These terms apply to all offers, orders, and agreements made through elenci.nl. Before completing an order, you will have the opportunity to review and accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not place an order.
In the event of a conflict between these terms and any additional conditions specific to a product or promotion, the provision most favourable to the consumer applies.
3. Our Products
ELENCI sells made-to-order modified timepieces (Seiko mods). Every watch is assembled specifically for you after your order is placed, not pulled from a shelf.
Product images and descriptions are as accurate as possible. Minor variations may occur due to the handcrafted nature of our products. Obvious errors or mistakes in pricing or product descriptions do not bind ELENCI.
4. Offers & Pricing
Our store currency is the euro (EUR). Prices may be shown in your local currency for convenience; the amount and currency you pay are shown at checkout. Prices include VAT where applicable under EU law. Orders of €250 or more (or the equivalent in your checkout currency) ship free to our available destinations; a shipping fee applies to smaller orders, shown at checkout.
Prices are valid for the period shown or, if no period is stated, as long as the product is available. We reserve the right to adjust prices, but the price at the time of your confirmed order is the price you pay.
Price increases within 3 months of an order confirmation are not permitted unless required by law. Price increases after 3 months are only permitted if clearly stated and if you retain the right to cancel the order.
5. Ordering & Agreement
An agreement is formed when you submit your order and receive an email confirmation from ELENCI. Until that confirmation is sent, no binding agreement exists.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order in exceptional circumstances (e.g. pricing error, inability to source components, suspected fraud). In such cases, you will be notified promptly and receive a full refund of any amount paid.
We may verify your ability to fulfil payment obligations before accepting an order.
6. Right of Withdrawal
As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your order within 14 days of delivery, without giving any reason.
To exercise this right, notify us within the applicable period by emailing support@elenci.nl with your order number and a clear statement of withdrawal. You may use the model withdrawal form below, but it is not required.
After notifying us, you must return the product within 14 days. A return shipping fee applies, based on your location, and is deducted from your refund. See our Refund Policy for the fee schedule.
Once we receive and inspect the returned watch, we will refund all payments including original shipping costs, minus the return shipping fee, within 14 days, using the same payment method you used unless you agree otherwise.

7. Consumer Obligations During the Cooling-off Period
During the cooling-off period, handle the product and its packaging with reasonable care. You may inspect and assess the product as you would be permitted to do in a physical store, but not use it beyond that. If the product shows signs of use beyond what is necessary for inspection, we reserve the right to deduct the resulting depreciation from your refund.
8. Exclusions from the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Products that are personalised or made to your individual specifications, such as engraved items or a custom build with a combination of components that is not part of our standard range and cannot reasonably be resold. We will tell you before we start assembly if your configuration falls under this exclusion.
- Products that have been unsealed and cannot be returned for hygiene or health reasons where the seal was broken after delivery
All other products, including our standard watches and standard configurations, can be withdrawn within the withdrawal period.
9. Payment
Payment is due at the time of ordering. Accepted methods: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Maestro, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Bancontact.
Payment is processed securely by our payment providers. ELENCI does not store payment card details.
If a payment is not received or is reversed without valid reason, ELENCI reserves the right to suspend or cancel the order and, if applicable, pursue recovery of costs including statutory interest and reasonable collection fees.
10. Delivery
Estimated delivery, including assembly: 7–15 calendar days from the order date within Europe and 14–28 calendar days outside Europe.
All orders are shipped with full track & trace. We ship to the destinations shown at checkout; orders of €250 or more (or the equivalent in your checkout currency) ship free, smaller orders carry a shipping fee shown at checkout.
Within the European Union, the price you pay includes all applicable taxes, with nothing extra due on delivery. For orders shipped outside the European Union, local import duties or taxes may apply on delivery, set by the destination country's customs authority. See our Shipping Policy for details.
Risk of loss or damage passes to you upon delivery. If delivery is delayed beyond 30 days from order date, you have the right to cancel the order and receive a full refund.
If your order cannot be fulfilled in full, we will notify you within 30 days. You may choose a partial delivery, a replacement, or a full refund.

11. Conformity & Warranty
ELENCI guarantees that all products conform to the agreement, meet the specifications described, and are fit for normal use at the time of delivery.
ELENCI gives a 2-year warranty on every watch, as described in our Warranty Policy. This is in addition to your statutory rights, which cannot be limited or excluded. For the first 12 months after delivery, the burden of proof in any conformity dispute rests with ELENCI.

12. Returns & Refunds
You have 14 days from delivery to withdraw from your order and return your watch for a refund, subject to our return conditions.

13. Complaints
If you have a complaint about a product or our service, contact us at support@elenci.nl. We will respond within 2 business days and aim to resolve all complaints within 14 days. If resolution takes longer, we will keep you informed.
14. Consumer Rights (EU)
If you are a consumer in the European Union, you retain all rights granted by applicable EU and national consumer protection law. Nothing in these terms limits or waives your statutory rights.
If you have a complaint, email support@elenci.nl with your order number and details. We respond within 2 business days and aim to resolve complaints within 14 days. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
15. Intellectual Property
All content on elenci.nl, including text, images, logos, video, and design, is the property of ELENCI and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written permission.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, ELENCI is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the value of the order in question. This limitation does not apply in cases of gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
17. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under the mandatory law of your country of residence.
18. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect upon publication. The version in force at the time of your order applies to that order.
