About Seiko Mods

A Seiko mod is a custom-built watch, assembled entirely by hand from a genuine Seiko-based movement and a curated set of aftermarket parts. Nothing is pulled off a shelf. Every case, dial, hand, and bezel combination is selected and fitted by hand to build a timepiece that exists in no factory catalogue.

Materials:
Cases are machined from 904L stainless steel, chosen for its durability and resistance to corrosion. The crystal is sapphire, so the dial stays scratch-free for years of daily wear.

Assembly:
Each watch is built by hand, component by component. There is no assembly line, only a watchmaker fitting the movement, setting the hands, and sealing the case back to bring your specific configuration to life.

Movement:
Depending on the model, your ELENCI runs on a genuine Seiko-based NH automatic movement or a VK series meca-quartz movement for chronograph models. Both are engineered by Time Module Inc. (TMI) for reliable everyday timekeeping.

Why it matters:
A Seiko mod isn't about wearing a name, it's about wearing something that took intention to build. No logo tax, no mass production, just a watch assembled the way you configured it. That's presence you don't have to explain.
